De tint NC42 is voor medium tot iets donkerdere huidtinten met een koele ondertoon. De kleur kan alleen worden gedragen of worden gebruikt om zeer lichte huidtinten te contouren. Hij is geschikt voor alle huidtypes. De MAC Pro Longwear Concealer kan gebruikt worden door zowel mannen als vrouwen met een droge of vette huid. Voor een bijzonder goede fixatie moet het gebied rond de ogen vooraf worden gehydrateerd met een oogcrème.
