De Guerlain L'Essentiel Primer wordt gebruikt onder make-up. De formule helpt poriën te minimaliseren en de houdbaarheid van make-up te optimaliseren. Onder andere avocado-extracten helpen de talgproductie onder controle te houden. De teint ziet er verfijnd en gematteerd uit en het algemene resultaat is egaler en langduriger. De primer kan gemakkelijk worden aangebracht met de pipet.
